Colleen Flynn as Dr. Pam Blondel

Dr. Pam Blondel is a civilian scientist (with a rank of lieutenant) working with the US Navy (Pilot). She joined the program because she loves dolphins and the US Navy provided the most funding for dolphin research (Pilot). When the Navy learns of Dr. Ricks' studies at the Institute, she is sent to work with him (Pilot). She is trained as a marine veterinarian, but does not practice because she cannot deal with the sight of animals in pain (Muddy Waters). Pam also has a teenage son, Mike. She had him when she was only 18 years old, and had a rocky relationship. It was not until ten years later, however, that Pam and her husband Scott split (Hurricane).
