Keep up to date here with the latest news about the show, cast, and this site!

Your voices have been heard, and MGM is planning a series release! You won't find it in stores, though. They are looking to release it through their new "Limited Edition Collection" - lesser-known titles that will be burned on-demand. But they already have a listing up on Amazon.com for season one. The cover art, unfortunately, doesn't quite match the season, but at this point I'm not going to be picky! ;) No release dates yet, but it's one to keep your eyes on! They also posted releases of season two of the original Flipper series and a DVD release of Late for Dinner, a movie that included both Brian Wimmer and Colleen Flynn! For interested fans, I threw those links in here as well.
Hulu.com has now posted all four seasons of the show! Unfortunately, they are still only accessible to US viewers. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes, along with links to available versions (US and Japanese DVDs, and German VHS). In site-related news, I have closed the forums for the time being - unfortunately they'd become overrun by spammers. If I can get a bit more secure option, I'll reopen them. Also, now that my life is settling down a bit, I'd love to expand the site more - a more complete episode guide, transcripts, etc. I do own a region-free DVD player and the Japanese DVDs, so hopefully I can start getting some better screencaps, too. I've gotten a few requests via e-mail (and I apologize if I haven't responded, as I said life's been crazy, but I do read them!) for the closing theme from the series ("My Bonnie") so I'll try to get a recording of that up! I'm also going to set up an Amazon storefront with Flipper-related links - eg the DVDs above, original Flipper series and movies and the '96 remake, films starring the actors from The New Adventures, and CDs that contain music used on the show. So keep an eye out for that! On a related note - Earth Day is two days away, so I encourage everyone out there to get out and do something for the planet! Even if you just make one small change in your life, every step counts! Many areas hold activities like beach cleanups, tree planting, and more. And for those of you who are so inclined, get involved in more long-term projects! The Nature Conservancy has programs for people of all ages. You can get involved in everything from office work to education programs to hands-on field work. I've been volunteering with them for awhile now. I've learned a LOT about the local ecosystems and had a lot of fun. There's lots of ways do do something, the key is just to get out and do them - and enjoy! :) And if you just want to enjoy some great nature-related entertainment, Disneynature's Oceans opens April 22nd. See it in the first week (April 22-28), and Disney will donate a portion of your ticket revenue to saving coral reefs in the Bahamas. This is the scenery from the show we all love, so lets make sure it stays beautiful! You can learn more about the film at Disneynature's Oceans and more about the beneficiary, Adopt a Coral Reef, at The Nature Conservancy.

Also, this was posted over at IMDB: DVDs of season one are now available in Japan! They seem to be both subtitled and dubbed into Japanese. They can be purchased through Amazon.co.jp. Please remember that these DVDs are Region 2, and will not play on most US DVD players! (However, Japan does use NTSC format, like the US, for those of you with region-free players!) Here's the links to the DVDs available:

Season One
Season Two I have also added links to the two sites to the links page. Thanks to David for the heads-up!
